VCDX Happenings at VMworld 2015

There is actually a lot going on for me this month as it relates to VCDX so I wanted to give a quick rundown with VMworld fast approaching.  Most of this is around some workshops and activities, but these are all things that you might want to get in on.

VCDX Workshop at VMworld

There is limited space for this so get your spot and commit to going!  This is a unique setup with a networking lunch after the 4 hour session to hob-knob with some current VCDX’s.  This is a great opportunity to take in the basic workshop information but also get to know some of the folks in the VCDX community over lunch!

The VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) program is growing every year. More and more people are interested in what it takes to become a VCDX. This moderated talk-show style panel session made up of a VCDX from each of the four tracks, (DCV, NV, DTM, CMA) will help potential candidates understand the value of getting their VCDX. It will also be a no-holds barred open discussion on what it takes to achieve this premier VMware certification. Hear from these experts on their journey and the incredible value that comes with becoming a VCDX yourself. This session will also feature live Q&A from the audience so come prepared with your own questions! This is the place to find out everything you ever wanted to know about becoming a VCDX, from live VCDX holders in a lively interactive session.

Education Lounge

I will also be staffed in the Education/Certification lounge to help answer questions about VCDX, so please come by to visit!  This is probably my lightest year every at VMworld so I look forward to having more time to chat with people about Personal Growth or other topics!

About Chris Colotti

Chris is active on the VMUG and event speaking circuit and is available for many events if you want to reach out and ask. Previously to this he spent close to a decade working for VMware as a Principal Architect. Previous to his nine plus years at VMware, Chris was a System Administrator that evolved his career into a data center architect. Chris spends a lot of time mentoring co-workers and friends on the benefits of personal growth and professional development. Chris is also amongst the first VMware Certified Design Experts (VCDX#37), and author of multiple white papers. In his spare time he helps his wife Julie run her promotional products as the accountant, book keeper, and IT Support. Chris also believes in both a healthy body and healthy mind, and has become heavily involved with fitness as a Diamond Team Beachbody Coach using P90X and other Beachbody Programs. Although Technology is his day job, Chris is passionate about fitness after losing 60 pounds himself in the last few years.
